Background
Every two years, the thresholds in the free trade agreements are updated. This notice amends the thresholds in Contracting Policy Notice 2023-6 and provides new thresholds, which are expressed in Canadian dollars. All thresholds are for the period from , to .
Requirements
Notices of intended procurement, also referred to as tender notices, must be published for procurements that are subject to the free trade agreements. They are published through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) via the Tender Opportunities page on CanadaBuys.
As new trade agreements are ratified through legislative processes, continue to monitor the most recent postings of Canada’s free trade agreements.
