Contracting Policy Notice 2022-2: Amendments to Appendix D of the Directive on the Management of Procurement Related to the COVID-19 Vaccination of Supplier Personnel

Subject: Amendments to Appendix D of the Directive on the Management of Procurement related to the COVID-19 vaccination of supplier personnel

Overview

On June 14, 2022, the Government of Canada announced that the COVID-19 vaccination requirement for public servants is suspended effective June 20, 2022. To align with this change, the Directive on the Management of Procurement is amended to suspend the requirements in Appendix D5 in the section titled COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel.

As a result, effective June 20, 2022, departments are no longer required to follow the Public Services and Procurement Canada COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel and are not required to implement a control framework.
