Are you a municipal or local government looking to launch a project? Does your non-profit organization support your community? If you need funding, ACOA may be able to help. Here are some programs available to support community projects.
Innovative Communities Fund (ICF)
We support community projects to build on local strengths, setting rural areas up for economic growth. If you have a community project in mind, check whether the ICF is right for you.
Economic Development Initiative (EDI)
We provide financial support for official language minority communities (OLMCs). Do you have a project that encourages economic diversification or innovation? We may be able to help.
Canada Coal Transition Initiative (CCTI)
Building a low-carbon economy is a priority of the Government of Canada. If you’re part of a community in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia that relies on coal, we can provide funding so you can prepare for new opportunities and a greener economy.
