Accessibility notice

ArriveCAN is available online on the web and as a free mobile app downloadable from the Google Play or Apple App stores. All ArriveCAN versions meet Government of Canada accessibility standards and W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA international standard. They fully support the use of assistive technologies such as screen readers and magnifiers.

If you have the mobile app installed on your mobile device, you may have difficulties signing in to the web version of ArriveCAN. If this happens, you may need to delete the mobile app.

Create an account or sign in to the web version of ArriveCAN

Create your account

  1. Download the ArriveCAN mobile app or access the web version of the app online
  2. Review and consent to the privacy notice
  3. Follow the prompts to create an account

Choose a secure password and confirm your account

  1. Select a secure password
  2. Confirm your account by entering the 6-digit verification code you will get by email

If you do not receive the code after a few minutes:

  • check your spam, junk and promotions folder
  • make sure you entered the correct email address

The code is valid for 24 hours, however, you may select "Resend code" to get a new one. If you do not confirm your account within 24 hours, request a new code to set up your account.

Sign in to your account

Your email address and password will work in the ArriveCAN app and the ArriveCAN website. If you have the mobile app installed on your mobile device, you may have difficulties signing in to the web version of ArriveCAN. If this happens, you may need to delete the mobile app to use the web version.

Enter your traveller information

Before submitting the details of your trip, you need to enter information for all travellers in your group. You can provide information for up to 8 travellers, including yourself in a single submission.

To complete your profile, you need a travel document (passport or Canadian permanent resident card). You can scan the document or enter the information manually. You must use the same travel document upon arrival.

Save your traveller information

By using the "saved traveller profile" feature on the app, your travel document information is kept on a secure server linked to your sign-in account.

The "saved traveller profile" feature is voluntary. By saving basic information about you and other travellers in your group, you do not have to enter it each time you make a new declaration. The "saved traveller profile" feature will save you some time.

You will need to re-create your profile if your information changes. And you will still need to enter the specific details about your trip each time you travel to Canada.

Any profile you complete for others in your travel party will be linked to your sign-in account. You can remove your profile or theirs at any time. Removing profiles will not cause records to be deleted.
