Filing a complaint
The Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada are separate ombudsmen that will investigate your complaints independently from the Correctional Service of Canada. Investigators from these offices will deal with you directly to address specific complaints.
The Information Commissioner of Canada
If you are not satisfied with the manner in which your request was processed under the Access to Information Act, you have the right to file a complaint within 60 days of the receipt of your response with the Information Commissioner of Canada:
