4. How to apply

Once you’ve received your posting message, you can fill out an application for military housing. You can submit your application either online (click on the button below) or submit your completed application by email or fax to the Housing Services Centre where you are applying. In both cases, include a copy of your posting message. Please note that housing is assigned based on household size on a first-come, first-served basis rather than on rank or position.

Please make sure you fill out all mandatory information, including:

  • the date of application
  • your family name
  • your rank
  • your Service Number or Personal Record Identifier
  • whether you are Regular or Reserve Force
  • your Change of Strength date
  • a copy of your posting message
  • your requested occupancy date
  • your household size
  • your contact information
