Apply for military housing: Step 3. What you need before you start

3. What you need before you start

If you are a Canadian Armed Forces member, your application for military housing must include a copy of your posting message. If your posting message is dated by more than a year, you must provide a confirmation from your Unit Record Office or your Orderly Room. If you are in your five years of service, you must include a copy of your enrollment letter.

For a Reserve Force member, you must include a copy of your period of employment. If you are a Priority 4 applicant, you will need your Personnel Record Identifier, if applicable.

Occupants may keep certain pets on the premises; however, CFHA will limit the kind and number of pets permitted. If you are a pet owner or would like to adopt a pet, please refer to the Annex B – Responsible Pet Ownership – Residential Housing Units for more details (also available in Section 8.3 in the Occupant Handbook).
