ESDC is pleased to present our 2016 Progress Report: Delivering Innovation to Serve Canadians, and to demonstrate how we live it, own it and share it every day.
We have good reason to be proud of our work and share our success.
You’ll see and hear, through ESDC employee voices, that we’re supporting employees, we’re creating a culture that is based on service excellence, we’re identifying innovative ways to respond to the changing needs of Canadians, and we’re engaging, we’re collaborating with our partners inside, outside government, as well as with Canadians, to ensure the services and programs that we provide meet the their needs. Most of all though, we’re having fun.
We take great pleasure in doing all this.
Thank you.
Respectful workplaces
A diverse, respectful and open workplace is one of the keys to ensuring our employees have the environment they need to do their best in service to Canadians. For example, our employee networks, senior management blog and our Champions provide employees with a safe environment to connect with others and speak about their own experiences.

Recruitment and onboarding
We're all about excellence in everything we do. That means making sure the right people are in the right jobs and they have the right training and tools. We are also focused on the future and how we're transferring our expertise to the next generation of ESDC employees.

Modernizing our programs and services
When we innovate it's not for the sake of innovating. We're engaging, consulting, communicating, and "hacking" our way to service excellence.

Collaborating for success in transforming service to Canadians
Citizens' expectations for improved service are on the rise. We're committed to meeting these expectations and our own high standards.

ESDC's commitment
We are committed to creating a flexible, resilient workforce that is open, collaborative and willing to embrace new ways of working.
