Task Force on Scientific Risk Assessment
The Task Force on Scientific Risk Assessment (TFSRA) was established in 2009. The TFSRA supports risk assessors and managers by improving information sharing, coordination, consistency and understanding of scientific risk assessments across Health Canada. The TFSRA addresses a broad range of issues on scientific risk assessments by developing an internal community of risk assessors and managers. It develops reports, guidance information and other deliverables for use and reference by various Health Canada programs. It provides an opportunity to discuss specific substance/product assessment issues, as well as serves as a resource for others involved in risk assessment.
