ARCHIVED – Service standard for paper applications under Federal Skilled Workers Program – received prior to January 1, 2015 (pre–Express Entry)
Service standard
IRCC’s goal is to process paper applications received prior to December 31, 2014 (pre-Express Entry), under the Federal Skilled Worker Program within 12 months. In order to process an application, we must have all information and supporting documents.
This service standard was implemented in September 2011.
Performance target
IRCC aims to meet the service standard 80 percent of the time.
Performance results
From April 2015 to March 2016, the service standard of 12 months was met 58 percent of the time. 80 percent of files were processed in 15 months or less. This service has been discontinued, though an inventory of historical applications remains. Reported processing times will therefore appear longer until the inventory is eliminated.
