Immigrate through Express Entry
The application process for skilled immigrants who want to settle in Canada permanently and take part in our economy.
New temporary public policy for physicians
We introduced a temporary public policy for foreign national physicians who
- were invited to apply for permanent residence through Express Entry on or after April 25, 2023, and submitted an application
- have a job offer or work experience in providing publicly funded medical services in Canada (such as fee-for-service work)
Under this public policy, we now use more flexible criteria to assess if these candidates are eligible for
- the Canadian experience class or the Federal Skilled Worker Program
- points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) for
- Canadian work experience
- arranged employment

French is one of Canada's two official languages. People speak French across Canada—not only in Quebec. From coast to coast to coast, there are many vibrant and dynamic Francophone communities to welcome you.
