How to apply

You’re both the employer and employee in the Start-Up Visa Program.

This means you apply for your work permit in 2 steps:

  1. Create and submit an offer of employment for yourself.
    1. Fill out forms in the Employer Portal or email us.
    2. Pay the fees online.
  2. Apply for your work permit.
    1. Gather the documents you need.
    2. Answer questions to get your document checklist.
    3. Apply through your secure online account.
    4. Pay the fees online.
