Dedicated service channel (DSC)

We offer a dedicated service channel (DSC) to the following:

employers who make a significant investment in Canada
universities that support publicly funded research chair holders coming to Canada

The DSC gives employers access to an account manager who can

assess the employer’s needs
answer the employer’s questions
give the employer guidance

For an employer to be eligible for the DSC, their company must be identified and referred by one of our referral partners. If the employer is eligible, the DSC will contact them.

The DSC does not process applications or offer special exemptions from the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) process.

Quebec-based companies can use MIFI-designated referral partners or federal partners (listed below).
