You can extend your open work permit as a Quebec investor once, for a period of up to 2 years.

Who can extend their open work permit

You may be eligible for an open work permit extension if you meet all of the following criteria:

• You hold a valid Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) issued under the Quebec Investor Program.
• You haven’t applied for permanent residence, or you’ve applied but haven’t received a completeness check.
• You’re living in Quebec when you apply to extend your open work permit.

You don’t need a new Quebec Notice of Intent to Select to extend your work permit under this program.

You need to meet all of the above criteria to be eligible for this open work permit.
