In August 2023, the Ombudsman launched a systemic review of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) military complaint mechanisms.  Following that review, two reports will be published.

Defending Wellness: A Systemic Investigation of the Canadian Armed Forces' Health Care Complaint Process is the first of the two reports. It looks at how the CAF handles members’ health care complaints and identifies instances of unfairness and inequity.
