This document provides detailed guidance on the elements required for a comprehensive biosecurity plan in facilities where pathogens and toxins are handled or stored. The guidance is intended to assist facilities in meeting the minimum biosecurity requirements outlined in the Canadian Biosafety Standard and the Human Pathogens and Toxins Act and Regulations.
