Privacy notice statement

The personal information is collected on a voluntary basis pursuant to the Public Service Superannuation Act. The personal information will be used by Receiver General & Pension of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) to respond to your questions. Such information may also be used for statistical, evaluation and reporting purposes. The personal information is described in the Personal Information Bank PSU 914 – Public Communications. Your personal information is protected, used, and disclosed in accordance with the Privacy Act. A refusal to provide your personal information may make it impossible for our institution to respond to your questions or comments. Under the Privacy Act, you have the right to access and correct your personal information, if erroneous or incomplete. The personal information provided in this program administration will be retained for a period of 2 years minimum after the last administrative action, and then destroyed. If you require clarification about this privacy notice, you may contact the Public Services and Procurement Canada’s Access to Information and Privacy Directorate by email at tpsgc.vieprivee-privacy.pwgsc@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. Canada Post Disruption

To avoid delays in receiving your pension, we encourage you to sign up for Direct Deposit by contacting the Government of Canada Pension Centre. For most active members, you can also receive information through the active member pension portal messaging system, which helps ensure continued access to your pension communications during any mail service disruption.

If you need to send pension documents urgently, you may fax them. If original documents or signatures are required by the Government of Canada Pension Centre, please send them by courier to the address below.

Pension deposit

Your Pension will be deposited in your bank account on the third last banking day of the month. To find out when your deposit will be made, visit the Public service pension calendar.
