Free tax clinics

Free tax clinics

Through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, community organizations host free tax clinics where volunteers file tax returns for eligible people.

COVID-19 update:

If you’re planning to go to a free tax clinic, please check our directory and call the clinic before you go. Some clinics may have had to close or change their hours due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 or to mandatory closure ordered by authorities.

Tax filing season has been extended from April 30 to June 1, 2020. We hope this will give community organizations that have had to cancel their clinics the opportunity to reschedule before the June 1 filing deadline.

We understand that this service is important to you and we apologize for any inconvenience. To learn more about other ways to file your taxes, go to Doing your taxes.
