Register for the Dedicated Telephone Service

Before you register:

We are currently experiencing a very high volume of registration requests. We will be processing them in the order received and it may take a few weeks to resolve.

Register only once - you do not have to register each year for the service. If you were previously registered and forgot your Telephone Access Code, please email us at dts-str@cra-arc.gc.ca.

The Canada Revenue Agency's (CRA) Dedicated Telephone Service (DTS) for income tax service providers helps you find the information you need to interpret the provisions of the Income Tax Act.

The DTS is available to small and medium income tax service providers who prepare, or assist in the preparation of, Canadian income tax returns on behalf of individuals or businesses. Specialized tax professionals who represent large firms (those with more than 50 partners) are not eligible for this service.

Fill out the form below with the required information and click on the Submit button. After registering, the DTS team will contact you by email with their telephone number and your exclusive telephone access code (TAC).
