Change your personal information with Service Canada
Depending on the benefits you receive, you can change your direct deposit information, mailing address or telephone number using the options below.
Online in MSCA
You can change your personal information directly in My Service Canada Account (MSCA) if you receive benefits from:
- Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
- Old Age Security (OAS)
Select the benefit from your MSCA dashboard. To learn how to make changes, visit the Services in MSCA section.
If you can't use MSCA, you can:

To change your personal information for:
- Employment Insurance (EI)
- Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
- Canada Disability Benefit (CDB)
Use one of the following options:
For EI, CPP and CDB benefits, you cannot use My Service Canada Account (MSCA) to change your information at this time.

You will need to show your ID and answer questions to verify your identity. Examples of accepted ID include:
- One of the following:
- a passport (Canadian or foreign) or permanent resident card
- a Certificate of Indian Status issued by the Government of Canada
- a provincial or territorial ID card or driver’s license
- or two of the following:
- a birth certificate (provincial or territorial)
- a certificate of Canadian citizenship
- a certificate of registration of birth abroad
- any other government-issued ID
