Standard IRCC procedures for validating name, birth and gender, and for collecting biometrics for identity and screening.

Naming procedures: Establishing name records in IRCC systems
Guidance on the establishment of name records in IRCC systems for the following IRCC lines of business: citizenship, permanent residence, temporary residence and refugee protection.

Date of birth: Establishing date of birth records in IRCC systems (identity management)

Sex or gender identifier on IRCC documents and in IRCC systems (identity management)

Biometrics collection and screening
Procedures for the collection and use of biometric information from applicable temporary residence applicants; IRCC asylum applicants; and overseas resettlement applicants.

Considerations for assessing and processing special or priority case groups. Includes cases referred for urgent protection, vulnerable cases, public policies, applicants who are persecuted on the basis of their sexual orientation or gender identity expression (SOGIE-LGBTQI) and other groups requiring special attention.
