Regional Homebuilding Innovation Initiative (until 2026)

• Support to advance new homebuilding methods and boost productivity.

Regional Quantum Initiative (until 2029)

• Funding to develop and bring quantum products and solutions to market.

Tourism Growth Program (until 2026)

• Funding to support communities, SMEs, and not-for-profit organizations in developing tourism products and experiences in the Prairie provinces.

Regional Artificial Intelligence Initiative (until 2029)

• Support to help drive AI adoption by SMEs and sectors across the country.

Prairie Performing Arts Initiative (until 2026)

• Support for performing arts organizations based in the Prairies.

Black Entrepreneurship Program (until 2030)

• Supports Black business owners. Extension and additional funding for the Black Entrepreneurship Program was previously announced. Funding to be delivered by Regional Development Agencies is pending approval of Main Estimates once the House of Commons resumes.

Canada Coal Transition Initiative – Infrastructure Fund (until 2026)

• Intake closed. Supports communities impacted by the transition away from coal.

PrairiesCan is also providing support for Budget 2024 commitments related to the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization and the RCMP Heritage Centre in Saskatchewan.
