Assessment and due diligence of proposals to inform funding recommendations
Internal review and approval of funding recommendations by President and Minister
If approved, legally binding agreement established between PrairiesCan and the recipient
Administration and monitoring of funded projects, and collecting repayable contributions
Final analysis and closure

After completion, programs are reviewed for effectiveness, with lessons used to improve future initiatives.
