COVID-19 Challenges
The Department of National Defence solicited proposals to address challenges that arose as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department of National Defence solicited proposals to address challenges such as predicting the behaviour of adversaries, seeking smaller, ruggedized wind turbines for the arctic, removing frozen contaminants from aircraft, tracking and de-orbiting space debris, and shrinking quantum technologies for field operations. Pop up City Contest: Integrating Energy, Water and Waste Management Systems For Deployed Camps
The “Pop up City” Contest is a multi-phased contest for innovators to propose and develop reliable, energy efficient, integrated and scalable energy, water and waste management systems for Relocatable Temporary Camps. Contests are a competitive means of finding innovative solutions and awarding prizes to the best solutions derived from the innovation community.
