General Information on the Physical, Chemical and Biological Characteristics of the Turkey Lakes Watershed
The Turkey Lakes Watershed (TLW) is located approximately 50 km north of Sault Ste. Marie in the Algoma District of northern Ontario. It is situated on the Canadian Shield within the highlands east of Lake Superior. It is 10 km2 in area, contains a chain of 4 lakes, and has a mixed hardwood forest.
