School Health Grant for Youth: Apply now

Who can apply
To apply you must:
- be a youth between the ages of 16 and 19
- be a student enrolled in secondary or post-secondary school
- be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident in Canada
- not be a federal government employee at the time of applying
Note: Teachers and school administrators are not eligible to submit a grant application. However, they can act as a mentor and a youth ally.
How to apply
- Request an application form by emailing us at school.health.grant-subvention.sante.scolaire@phac-aspc.gc.ca
- We will email you the application form within 5 business days.
- Fill out the application form in full once you get it.
- Print and sign the completed form by hand. If you are a minor in your province or territory please ensure that your parent or guardian has also signed the form.
- Scan the signed form.
- Email the scanned form with the subject line "Application" to school.health.grant-subvention.sante.scolaire@phac-aspc.gc.ca.

Application deadline and timeframe
Micro-grants of $1,000 will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for youth-led health promotion projects that meet the program's eligibility criteria. Applications will be accepted until:
- funds are fully expended, or
- until December 20, 2024 at 11:59 AM EST
The Youth Policy and Partnerships Unit will:
- review applications
- communicate decisions directly to applicants by email
- provide information on next steps
Recipients must publicly share the results of their project on social media within 30 days of project completion.
