The First-Time Claimant Advisory Service provides first-time SR&ED claimants with an opportunity to discuss with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) officers to gain a better understanding of the SR&ED Program as well as to get recommendations and guidance on how to improve future claims.

The SR&ED Program is piloting a new virtual service for claimants that provides an opportunity to meet with a Canada Revenue Agency SR&ED representative.
- Resolving claimants' SR&ED concerns
The CRA is committed to providing fair treatment to all claimants in the SR&ED Program. If you do not agree with the findings of the review of your SR&ED claim, or if you are concerned about how the review was done, you are encouraged to take specific steps to resolve your concerns.
