MaxBack controls page
The feature is helpful in optimizing the transfer and claim of credits and deductions between family members. It can help reduce the amount of tax owed or ensure refunds are maximized.
As information is entered into the software, MaxBack will automatically make certain decisions to lower taxes payable and maximize the total refund for the individual and, if applicable, their family members.
Those decisions are applicable to both the federal and Quebec tax returns.
If you want to change the MaxBack control options, click the Controls topic in the left-side menu of the software under the Interview tab. Note that you are not required to change the settings on this page.
