Special measures for the Work-Sharing Program in response to the Jasper and Bunibonibee wildfires 2024 are in effect from December 1, 2024 until August 3, 2025. Employers seeking more information on the Work-Sharing Program may contact the Employer Contact Centre to find the following information:

- Work-Sharing Unit
- how to register or obtain support for Data Gateway, or
- how to complete your Utilization Report (UR)
Regional Work-Sharing Units
Employers applying for a Work-Sharing agreement or making a request to amend their Work-Sharing agreement must submit their completed forms by email to their respective regional Work-Sharing Unit:

Employer Inquiry Unit
Service Canada has created an inquiry unit for employers that are seeking general information related to the Work-Sharing Program. Employers may send inquiries to edsc.dgop.tp.rep-res.ws.pob.esdc@servicecanada.gc.ca.

Employment Insurance Call Centre
For general questions about their Work-Sharing Employment Insurance benefits and payments, employees can call the Employment Insurance Call Centre. Please note that for privacy reasons, Service Canada is unable to disclose information specific to an employee’s file to employers.
