Protecting the integrity of the Temporary Foreign Worker program
We strongly encourage Canadians, employers and temporary foreign workers to report any potential cases of abuse of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program to the Government of Canada. If you are aware that someone has been misusing the program, please let us know.
Employers that abuse or misuse the TFWP may face criminal sanctions including fines or imprisonment, or administrative consequences such as a suspension, revocation or a ban from access to the Program.
Service Canada has various control mechanisms such as a rigorous labour market impact assessment process, Employer Compliance Inspections, Reviews, and Ministerial Instructions to prevent, detect and deter misuse of the program.

It’s a step-by-step secure online process for submitting your information, anonymously if you wish, directly to us.Service Canada takes abuse of the programs it delivers very seriously. When an individual or business receives benefits by providing false or misleading information, the integrity of the programs we deliver is compromised.
Integrity Services Branch coordinates the information that Service Canada receives from individuals and assesses it for relevance, credibility and impact to determine whether abuse or misuse has occurred with respect to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. The information you provide is reviewed and given to the appropriate office for further review and/or action.
