Consultation on the Prescription Drug List: Lovastatin

Notice to the reader:

The online consultation is now closed.

The purpose of this Notice of Intent to Amend is to notify that, as a result of consultation, Health Canada will revise the listing for lovastatin on the Prescription Drug List (PDL). Only the Human part of the PDL is to be revised; the listing for Veterinary use will remain unchanged.

A question-and-answer document hhas also been created to explain some of the changes to the new Prescription Drug List and the administrative process for assigning prescription status.
