My Account for Individuals
We are aware of a technical issue affecting a small number of Northern Ontario Energy Credit recipients. Impacted recipients may notice an interruption in their payments, or a different payment amount for their Ontario Trillium Benefit. They may also have received a request to pay an amount for the Ontario Trillium Benefit overpayment. This may have been sent in error. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and expect all interrupted payments to be issued on January 10, 2024.
If you did not receive your payment and need it immediately, please call us at 1-877-627-6645.
The CRA has resumed its work to address taxpayer debt. Tax refunds, benefit and credit payments may be applied to pay outstanding balances. You can check the status of your benefits by logging into your CRA My Account. Contact the CRA if debt repayment causes you financial hardship.
