Motion graphics: Design Standard for the Federal Identity Program
The official symbols must be applied to motion graphics that contain a government message. Motion graphics include animated shapes or text, images with animated effects, with or without audio.

When to apply the symbols
The Canada wordmark and the corporate signature must be applied to motion graphics that contain information about government programs and services, a call to action, hashtags, website URLs, or other types of messages.
Depending on the type of motion graphics, departments can apply either the requirements for static graphics or the requirements for videos.

Motion graphics that do not contain a government message or call to action do not require the Canada wordmark or corporate signature.
