A Day Of Duty Done... A Day Of Rest Begun
The Queen was a steadfast and consistent presence in all our lives. She was the only monarch I had ever known. A beautiful lady, through and through, she was truly a servant of her people. I can't even fathom at the age of 25 being thrust into her role, and she did it with such grace. She will be truly missed. May she rest in peace knowing how she made the world a better place and touched so many lives. She can rest knowing the monarchy continues. Long live the King.

I grew up with the Queens framed picture in our hallway. I also sang God Save the Queen every school day morning, The Queen was important then and also now as we all looked up to this monarch and person who held our countries together. What an amazing lady. Ahead of our time I am sad for her loss but glad I lived in this era . Rest in piece .

I am 50 years old. I fondly recall growing up in a small town in Central Alberta and having a weekly general assembly in school where at the closing, without fail we would all stand and sing God Save the Queen. As a proud Canadian she was always there in my life. I will miss her.
God Save the King.
Deeply saddened by her majestical departure from our lives who until her last breath showed her unremitted devotion for the well being of her nation. She stoodfast in the time of tragedies and faced them with compact composure throughout her historical reign and her constant smiling face and the shining bright eyes watching all of us with graceful waving hands from the Balcony of Buckingham Palace will remain in our memories for the rest of our lives.
You were an inspiration to everyone. Your strength and kindness will never be forgotten. It is truly an end to an era.
A great leader for all times and a woman who brought the world together. You will be greatly missed. Thank you for your life of service. Rest now in peace with your dear husband.

Condolences to the royal family. Queen Elizabeth was part of our lives, and I feel a personal sense of loss. We should also celebrate her long and exemplary life.
I have seen the Queen in the summer of 1976 (Montreal Olympic games), I was only 18 then and never really paid much attention until later in life. Come present day, I have watched so many episodes of her Majesty's documentaries and her life's journey that I really grew fond of her, her dedication and accomplishments have truly awed me to the point that I really cried when she passed away. What an amazing Human Being!!!
My grandmother (1901-2000) had a life-long admiration of the royal family, starting her scrapbooks of "the royals" as a girl.
I had the opportunity to wave at various members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth.

Rest In Peace beloved Queen.
I was very saddened by the news of Her Majesty’s death. I always thought of her as a very special lady. She reminded me of my mother with her pleasant smile and visible kindness. I always wanted to have tea with her but was never able to get to London. Having lost my mother I can understand how her family must feel. She was a great lady and lived a long and fulfilled life. May she Rest In Peace. Bless you all.
Our deepest, heartfelt condolences go out to our Queen’s family. Queen Elizabeth served with dignity, great insight and a tremendous love of all nations in the Commonwealth. May she find her place with those loved ones who have passed before her.
The world will never be the same. Your humanity, sincerity and loyalty are only a few of the admiral qualities that made you so loved around the world. So proud to call you our Queen and to belong to the Commonwealth. Now you may rest with your Prince and can confidently allow your family to continue what you have lead them to do. Thank you, Your Majesty. God save the Queen. God save the King.
Thank you for everything you have accomplished to make the world not only a better a place but a place of happiness and welcome. Although a majority of us didn’t get a chance to meet you in person. Our hearts tell us what you were like based on what has been done. You will forever and always be in our hearts. Rest In Peace.
Sincerely,
Mytchel.
Thank you for demonstrating female power, beauty and grace. I have grown up admiring you and I hope you find your way to all of the beloved members of your family. You will be missed dearly.
She was the one I always thought of when I needed to be strong. In a small and insignificant way, I felt like I could follow by her example. I’m the oldest of 4 and at every funeral and every difficult passage through life I’ve steered the ship for my family. Showed them how to behave and how to get through trials and tribulations. And all the while I thought, be strong- like the queen. Stiff upper lip. Stop complaining and do your duty. Dignity always dignity. May God bless and keep our Queen.
To life and to the unflinching idol.
My sincere condolences to the Royal Family of Great Britain.
Such a special lady who devoted her life to the service of others while taking on the roles of mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. Thank you for your love of Canada. We will never forget you.
I hope she is happy where she is. Thank you for your unfettered commitment to your entire domain.
