Our deepest condolences to the Royal family on the passing of the lovely Queen. Some memories that remain are her visit to Toronto in 1973 to open the Civic Centre and watching her wave as she passed us in the parade on Brimley Road, as well as being my mother’s look-a-like and such a wonderful leader who will be long remembered with high regard. God bless your soul and may God guide all our leaders well.

I saw Queen Elizabeth II several times when she visited Ottawa, where I was working in the federal government. My mother strongly resembled the Queen, and seeing her Majesty on television always reminded me of my mother, after she had passed, which was very comforting. The Queen was a beautiful person, inside and out and I was very proud to have her as head of state for Canada.
Condolences to all in the Royal Family. In 1985 I pledged an Oath to her Majesty as an Officer in Her Majesty's Canadian Armed Forces and have upheld that Oath through 26 years of Military Service and now almost 4 years of Public Service. On behalf of my mother who lived through the blitz and myself, rest in peace Your Majesty. You were a role model for service and devotion. Job well done. Pam and Peter.
I reflect back to July 7, 1959, when the Queen visited Sault Ste. Marie. My Mother, Tomira Sierzputowski had the unique honour to fashion a duster made of white Irish linen for the Queen as she would be touring the Algoma Steel Plant on her visit. It was an honour my mother cherished her entire life. The local paper, The Sault Star featured a story.

1 Thessaloniciens chapitre 4
