I’m so sorry for your sorrow and loss. I know your mother is smiling somewhere, as she watches over all of you. May she rest in peace.
The Queen's passing should result in a statutory holiday of mourning for all Canadians where we could all take the time to heal and pay our respects to one of the greatest leaders of our time. By not mandating a day off, it is setting a bad precedent while also being disrespectful to the Crown and to those who came before us.

In 1959 at the age of 4, I waited with excitement for the arrival of Her Majesty and Prince Philip at Malton Airport in Toronto. Through personal and world challenges, I have witnessed the Queen remain true to her moral compass of duty, respect for the Institution while G-d granted her the perspicacity to adapt.
May her memory be a blessing and may she rest in peace. G-d bless the Royal Family to continue in strength, and good health.

RIP Your Majesty. I have always admired your grace, fortitude and dedication to your duty. Thank you for uniting us throughout your reign.
I just wanted to wish my most sincere condolences to the family of Her Majesty. I'm the same age as the Prince and Princess of Wales, and like the Prince and his brother I lost my mother suddenly as a teen, so I know how it feels to lose a mother. My thoughts go to Her Majesty's children, grandchildren and the rest of their family.
Thoughts and prayers to the royal family and friends of Her Majesty. Her Majesty was the only sovereign many have ever known. There was always a surety and steadfastness having the Queen on the throne. She ruled with dignity, wisdom, justice and integrity.

Although I haven't formed an opinion on monarchy in general, or our monarchy in particular, I have felt sympathy & admiration for HM Queen Elizabeth II. The royal family's treatment by the media has often been unfair & unproductive. Although that seems unlikely to change, I wish the family well & and that nothing might agrivate their normal grief.
we will miss your smile.
Mes plus Sincères Condoléances
A toute la famille
Vive le nouveau roi !
Charles III
As a veteran of the Canadian Forces and as a Canadian citizen, Her Majesty has always been at the forefront of my life and her steadfast devotion to all of us was immense. May She rest now, as he duty is complete.
Sending my deepest sympathies to the Royal Family, to the citizens of Great Britain and the Common Wealth.
What I admired is Queen Elizabeth's dedication to her people, her work ethic and her love of family (human and animal). What I loved most is sometimes seeing her sense of humor in action. Of the ones I've seen, my favorites were her skit with Daniel Craig for the Olympics and with Prince Harry for the Invictus games.
May she rest in peace next to her beloved Prince.
Regards,
Marta

Sending our condolences for the passing of HRM. Our daughter was born in June, and I'm grateful that she is a Elizabethan. Once I was tasked with processing an estate that had a large number of Canadian paper money spanning decades. The stacks of $20 bills formed a kind of flipbook spanning Her entire reign, and it was truly incredible to see it laid out so plainly but dramatically.

Growing up, I have always looked up on Queen Elizabeth - such grace, compassion, dedication to the people - if a Queen can rule so many countries, so can I with all my dreams. My deepest condolences to the Royal family. Your loss is felt around the world. I feel like we have all lost a beloved grandmother. What a wonderful and impactful life she had led.
It was truly an honour to have met you and been able to attend church service with you on one of your many trips to Yellowknife. We are small part of your commonwealth, however you made the people of the north feel close to you and not forgotten. For a woman who was never born to be queen we could not have hoped for a better one, your shoes will not be easy to fill. Rest easy as your work here is done. As you join Philip be proud of all you have accomplished as it is simply amazing!
I am sadden to hear of the loss of such a great Women, our Queen Elizabeth. Thank you for your service. Your legacy will live on.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II represented more than a monarchy or the Commonwealth to me. She represented that women are equal to the challenges long carried by men. She represented strength, will, and kindness - remaining a person in the eyes of the people and not some faraway title. Thank you, for all that you gave, all that you oversaw. You were not perfect, but those imperfections made you beautiful to us.
I’m a firm believer that when we lose someone close to us, like a mother, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. They’re so connected to us that they become a part of us. Wishing you peace and comfort during this unimaginable time.
Rest In Peace Your Majesty. You have touched the lives of so many and we are so thankful to have had you as our Queen. Thank you!

Our world has lost it's North Star, it's beacon of stability. Her Majesty's dedication of her life at the age of 21 to serve her "great imperial family, of which we all belong" was a responsibility she never once wavered from. Rest in Peace Your Majesty. God Save The King.
BYE , BYE Lady Queen. You were a wonderful soul and I'm saddened to see you go.
Thank you for your service
Always admired the Queen and felt awesome having a Queen than a King. May the Queen rest in peace.
The loss of our Queen is keenly felt.
You were the only Queen Canadian's have ever known.
And while I am sad to have never met you, I am happy you lived a long fruitful life.
My only wish is the 'next in line' might get out to more of Canada. For if we are to have a King or Queen, they should come and be one with the people....or disappear into obscurity.
Only time will tell.
The Queen is dead, long live the King!
Sincere condolences and prayers to the Royal family on the passing of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. She lived an amazing (and good!) life and is fondly remembered by our family. May she rest in peace and find joy in re-uniting with her love, Prince Philip. Peace.
My sincere condolences to the Royal Family.
Queen Elizabeth will always be remembered for her example and for the good she has done for humanity! Unique and incomparable! Admirable!
My heartfelt sympathy to our Queen's family, the Nation and the Commonwealth.
Our heartfelt condolences to King Charles and the Royal Family.
May her Majesty's life and memory remain a blessing to all who knew her. My sincere condolences to the Royal family in their personal loss.
RIP your Majesty
Thank you Queen Elizabeth for all your service to the Crown and Canada we love you
Rest In Peace Queen. Long live the King
You were a real important part of my grandparents life , all the way to my grandmother's passing. They loved everything you stood for.
Rest in peace your majesty
My condolences to all Queen Elizabeth’s family, friends and everyone around the world mourning for her. She dedicated her life to Britain and the Commonwealth and was a great role model for all. She will be deeply missed by many around the world.
I saw Her Majesty when she visited Nanaimo in 1983. She was genuinely interested in people and there was a certain "spark" about her - aside from of her grace and elegance. Her mother, the Queen Mum, also had that quality. I'm sure that she's looking down now and humbled by the amount of love for her over her lifetime from all over the world.
I'm also very sure she is happily reunited with her parents, sister, Prince Phillip, and other loved ones. She will be dearly missed for quite some time.
Her Majesty has been an inspiration to us all. She will be missed.
My heart goes out to the family in the difficult time.
Queen Elizabeth II was lady with poise and grace
My deepest and heartfelt condolences of one of the saddest days in history. I was unable to function when I heard the news and collapsed with utter shock and sadness. Sending all family members and all of United Kingdom my thoughts and prayers.
My condolences to the Royal family on the passing of Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who masterfully led the monarchy for 70 years. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the people from Ingland.

My deepest condolences to the Royal Family in the loss of Queen Elizabeth II. We have lost a wonderful woman who may have been our Queen, but she was also your mother and grandmother. I hope you will be able to take some time for yourself and reflect on her life. Respectfully Stacy.
Toutes mes sympathies toute la famille. Mille mercis à madame la Reine pour son dévouement, elle sera toujours un exemple à suivre!
WE LOVE YOU
Toutes mes condoléances à la Famille Royale.
Mes pensées sont pour vous
I am writing on behalf of myself and my late Grandfather Wray. He was a staunch monarchist and beamed with pride when the queen sent out the traditional letter of congratulations for his and my grandmother's landmark anniversary. Tonight my other grandmother and I are making bangers and mash in tribute to Her Majesty. I will be playing the funeral on the projector at the retirement home I work at on the nineteenth. My condolences to the family of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We mourn together the loss of our beloved Queen, may she be remembered for her courage, steadfast faith and enduring leadership.
My sincerest condolences to the family of the late Queen Elizabeth the II, from the Parchment, Daley & the Simms family in Canada & Jamaica. One love!
I have never met the Queen, always wanted to though. My prayers are with her and her family that they heal at the time of her loss. Blessings for all.
Thank you for your 70 wonderful years of service.
rest in peace
