Une reine qui a permis à la monarchie de s'adapter à son époque et par le fait même de continuer d'exister. C'est en grande partie grâce à la Reine qu'autant de gens respectent toujours cette Institution. Merci et repose en paix.
Elizabeth II was my Queen for 52 years. Like many Canadians I wore the monarchy pretty lightly day to day and year to year, but the institution is at the heart of Canada for me. She was a sterling example of a monarch all that time. She made promises and swore oaths when even my parents were only 12, and now, a long life and reign later, she has fulfilled them all. Rest in Peace.
Thank you for your steadfast presence over all those years. You were a role model of grace, dignity, and dedication to duty. The world mourns your passing, but will remember you forever.
Your Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was a grace of respect and admiration for her tenasious work for the Crown and dedication to the Commonwealth of Nations. God bless the Queen in her next life and bless the new King Charles III!

May you rest eternally with the everlasting love and admiration of all those who were blessed to have been protected by you. God Save the Queen
As a little girl, I looked up to you as I saw a woman in a position of power in a world where men were the only heads of state.
It inspired me to be more, to want more, to do more. Thank you for your service. It is time to relax now your Majesty. Rest in Peace and may your memory always be a blessing to us all.

My deepest condolences to the Royal family on the loss of their beloved Mum and Grannie. In 1973 the Queen visited Brampton, ON, I was 12 yrs old, I was mesmerized by her beautiful smile, she reminded me of my own Mom, they were one year apart in age, and in the year they wed, and both had long marriages to the loves of their life. We referred to our mom as our “Queen”, and now I’ve lost both, which makes me extremely sad. Rest peacefully beautiful lady!

Thank you for your 70 years of service to our country.
May you Rest In Peace & be reunited with your beloved husband.
To the Royal Family, I am sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure watching a leader lead and handle situations with such grace and stability. I know her diplomacy has inspired so many people to behave the same. I would rarely think of Queen Elizabeth II as a "female leader", because her impact was so great that she was a leader in every sense of the word. It was an honour to witness her alive as Queen and it is a privilege to write this message.
You were there for many and all nations and for the people of those nations. You upheld the trust and faith of your station and the crown. I am proud and privileged to be a member of the Commonwealth. You will be missed. Bless your family and the legacy you leave behind.
Rest in peace your Majesty, you'll be greatly missed.
Truly a woman of strength and integrity, full filing her duties to her country until her last days, may her descendants appreciate her grace and integrity and follow her example through what is now their history in the making.
My condolences to all the Royal Family on the very personal loss of your mother, grandmother, great grandmother and family matriarch. As a Canadian citizen I grieve for Elizabeth R, the only Queen of England I have known, and the head of our Commonwealth. Peace be with you.
Thank you for your life service to the world, you will be missed so much but will live on in our hearts. R.I.P
God Bless Your Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
May your glowing spirit surround your family and console them in their grief.
We will always be aware of your presence; just look at Princess Charlotte! On her bonny face we recognize your twinkling eyes and your mischievous smile.
Today on your funeral I quote a line from A.A. Milne's poem " Buckingham Palace.""They're changing guard at Buckingham Palace
Christopher Robin went down with Alice."God save and bless the King.
Thank you to the Royal Family for the Queen's many years of service, some of which must have been at your personal expense. I remember listening to my teacher explain that now we had a queen, not a king any more, so we now needed to sing "God save our gracious Queen." I was 8. The Queen inspired us all by her quiet confidence, her optimistic outlook, and her steadfastness over the years. My sympathy to the Royal Family in the loss of their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
My dad Owen Rowe received his Queens Golden Jubilee in 2002 and I received my Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Next week I receive my Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medal in Nova Scotia as part of National Apology to No 2 Construction Battalion. Your funeral was today and I watched it with my daughter. HRM RIP.

As I reflect on my lengthy military career, the one constant has been my Commander-in-Chief. It is hard to imagine her not being there. She was the epitome of royal dedication, a monarch like no other before, and likely never to be seen again. But as she departs this earthly realm for her eternal reward with her Lord, she does not leave us empty handed; her faith and devotion to duty still provide us a constant royal standard, something most of us can only aspire to reach. Long live the King.
I was so sorry to hear of the Queen's death. I greatly admired and respected the Queen. I wish I had had the honour of seeing her in person. My thoughts and prayers are with King Charles, and the rest of the Royal Family. She will be greatly missed by many of us but most of all by you. I have been an admirer of the Queen since age six, when I was part of the crowd that greeted her and Prince Phillip when they visited Cornwall, Ontario in 1967. Since then, I have admired her grace, dignity, and commitment to peace and people around the world. Thank you, your Majesty, for your and your family’s service and sacrifice. Peace be with you.
Mes sincères condoléances à la Famille Royale pour le décès de notre Reine Elizabeth II.
Que Dieu guide notre Roi Charles III tout au long de son règne.
You will always be my Queen
Lived her life in the service of her people never able to live for herself. What an incredible sacrifice to make.
Our hearts are broken over the passing of Queen Elizabeth. She was the epitome of dignity and grace and we are honored to have had her as our Monarch for 70 years. May you rest in peace, Your Majesty
Rest in peace dear Queen.
Finally you are with your beloved Philip.
My deepest, heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother, our Queen. I would like to Thank Queen Elizabeth for 70 years of her honorable service to Canada. We love her and always will. She made us All very, very proud. Now is your turn to rest dearest Queen. We love you.
I grew up in Nfld. and only knew of being governed by the Queen. The Queen felt more like someone you could sit with and have a chat over tea than someone who ruled over our province. Thank you for your service and rest peacefully your Highness. Your job was very well done.
Dear Majesty
Thank you for your reign; you lived a long life through multiple events, giving people worldwide hope. You always cared for other people making sure they laughed and had a smile on their faces. Thank you
When younger I learned you were our Head of State - I so remember clearly writing that down in cursive in elementary school.
I couldn't have imagined the Royal Canadian Mint actually having to change the backside of all our coins to another face, but the time has come.
May you rest in peace and power, our Queen. May the future glow brighter than the past as we carry on.
My condolences on the passing of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was Queen of Canada and providing 70 years of sovereign service to the Commonwealth. She will never be forgotten. I am sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace your Majesty.
She was an inspiration to many, and the true embodiment of service before self. Rest in peace, your Majesty.
A remarkable being, an iconic Monarch, forever our Queen. Our deepest sympathy to the Royal Family. Rest easy your Majesty
Love & light,
Helga & Family
My father grew up in an ORPHANAGE in Staffordshire so I've always had respect for the Queen
Her legacy is great... and your loss is great. Please accept my condolences. "Grief is the price we pay for love". Queen Elizabeth II
You were a beacon on a rock around which the seething sea was made to rest.
We shall be in your debt forever.
God Save the King.
Our sincerest condolences to the Royal Family. She will be dearly missed. She was a great inspiration to all. The only Queen we have ever known.
May the reign of Elizabeth II be an inspiration for those who care about serving the Public. and her pledge of 1947 be reiterated and upheld by King
Charles III, Peace be upon the Leaders.
Heartfelt condolences to the royal family and the Queen's staff who worked with her all these years. The Queen was an extraordinary and inspirational person and will be missed. Rest in peace.
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. May her legacy never be forgotten. God save the King.
I have been inspired by Her Majesty’s dedication and fulfillment of duty. I will always remain grateful for her service. May all who love her find comfort.
Thinking of you during this difficult time. Your mother/grandmother/great-grandmother was a remarkable woman and queen. I hope you are all able to find some well-deserved and necessary downtime to absorb all that has happened and to grieve her in your own way. Take care of yourselves.
I have never met the Queen.
But, I swore allegiance to her, during my citizenship ceremony back in 2006, when I officially received the Canadian citizenship.
Today I feel that something bigger than a human being was lost.
In a world that values, civility, dignity, ethics and manners have been long lost, she represented those, and now she is gone.
There are only a few people left on this planet than are able to lift us above it all.
She was one of them.
I hope she rests in peace.
rest in peace

Thank you, Your Majesty, for everything. Thank you for your service to the nation, the Commonwealth, and the world. Thank you for the example - of duty to your people, of dedication to your family, and of devotion to your ‘strength and stay’ - that you set over the past seventy years. I am grateful to have experienced the second Elizabethan Age.
My sincerest condolences to the King and the rest of the Royal Family. May the Queen rest in peace and God save the King.

The passing of Her Majesty marks an end to an era. The Queen has been a stalwart member of our lives and a strong presence in my family…passing by our home in Kingston on my brother’s christening day to my parents meeting the royal couple during the sailing Olympics in 1976 to the annual Christmas messages - one of our family traditions. She is and will continue to be missed. We thank her for her service.
We have lost a great person
