Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2nd was an inspiration to us all - the embodiment of kindness, good humour, strength and dedication to duty. I would like to thank her for her many years of devoted service to country and realm. I saw her in London in June 1970 riding side saddle in the Trooping of the Colour when we were both much younger women and again at Queen's Park in 2010 when she visited Toronto with Prince Phillip.
A shining example of servitude. "Well done, good and faithful servant". May you rest in peace.
When I heard Queen Elizabeth II had passed, I realized she secretly was an inspiration to me since I was young. She seemed to be able to sit any spook, bolt, or buck I’ve ever seen. She inspired me. I appreciated her sass when she went riding after advised not to, and smiling like a child whenever she saw one of her horses. Through her actions many miles away, she she taught me many things over the years and for that I am grateful. Thank you, Your Majesty.
