DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO ALL NATIONS
This is both a monumental and tragic time in Canadian History.
Though most of us have only ever known one monarch we will remember the Queen for many years to come.
Her majesty's reign has been one of history, seeing through the most important moments of both the 20th and 21st century. And now, as we let go of the Queen and usher in a new era, we must reflect on the fact that the Queen was both a reflection of the past, and a look forward. May God bless our beloved Queen, and may she rest in glory as one of the greatest monarchs of not only our time, but all time. God save the Queen.
Your majesty, Queen Elizabeth, Miss you but always remember you.
The queen had a wonderful life devoted to serving the people. She was an exceptional lady who will be greatly missed. She had the power to bring people together in troubling times. She began serving as queen at the young age of 27 in 1953, all the way to her death. That's 70 years on the throne and I find that to be quite impressive.
Thank you for your service, your grace and your compassion.
You loved Canada and we loved you.

From the moment I saw
Princess Elizabeth standing in the train caboose smiling at us, accepting our small bouquet of flowers so graciously, I was a fan for life. I was in grade 4 and our class had been chosen to present the flowers as her train was passing through Saint-Lambert, Quebec on her way to Montreal. That was Fall 1951.
Later on, I remember watching Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation from outside a store window, on a black and white tv, no sound..
