Today, as a 59 year-old fit Corporal, am endeavoring to extend my compulsory retirement age to 65.

I started grade one in 1960, and every day we sang "God Save the Queen" and turned to face her picture on the classroom wall. Institutions give structure, but institutions become hollow without worthy individuals filling them. We were extremely fortunate to have had Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II filling the role of monarch for so long. As such, she was a living and dynamic symbol of countries, nationalities and values. The monarchy continues, and the Queen's successors will bring their respective strengths, but the loss of the Queen's uniqueness is a great blow to her peoples. May she enjoy the rest she so deserves.
RIP our beautiful Queen. Thank you for your 70 years of service and inspiration. My deepest condolences to the Royal family.

You have graced the world with your grace, devotion to office and left a legacy of love, dignity, duty and honour.
God rest HRM Queen Elizabeth II
Thank you for your years of selfless service and your graciousness
On behalf of Mosaic Forest Management, we send our sincere condolences to the Royal Family. We are reflecting on our memories of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Including a time in 1951 when the late Queen (then Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh) visited Mosaic's Northwest Bay yard, booming grounds and woodlands on Vancouver Island, BC. We join with others across the world in honouring Her Late Majesty's life and legacy.
May The Queen Rest Peacefully and God Bless the Throne of King Charles III.
Ma'am,
You were the most recognized face in the entire world. Thank you for your service. Life won't be the same without you.
When I learned of the passing of her Majesty the Queen, I felt an immediate sense of sorrow and immense loss for so many. I was privileged in 1971 as an 8 year old Brownie, to attend the centennial celebration in Penticton, to watch and listen. I understood the significance and positivity she created in her role. That respect to decency and service never wavered, throughout her unrivalled reign. She will be deeply missed and I send my condolences to the entire family.
This is a moment of great sadness for the whole world. It feels like we have all lost a grandmother in you. I am deeply saddened to have learned about your passing but at the same time, at peace because you are now able to be with Prince Philip and your loving father, mother, and sister again. Thank you for everything, ma’am!
Sincerest condolences to the Royal Family.
The end of an era. Rest in Peace.
